What should I do before I can play SPORT.Guru?
Before you can participate in a contest, you must first read and accept the terms and conditions. A minimum age of 18 years is required to register.
Do I need to be registered to participate in SPORT.Guru games?
Yes. You have to register first and then log in with your username and password. This only takes a few minutes and is completely free. If you do not have an account yet, you can register here.
How can I edit my SPORT.Guru account?
You can view and edit your settings by clicking on your user name at the top. In the menu, you can make the following adjustments:
- Manage your personal settings
- Manage incoming / outgoing payments
- Review your transactions
- Invite friends and earn referral rewards
Can I register multiple accounts at SPORT.Guru?
No. This is not permitted. Each customer may register only once at SPORT.Guru. Once you have successfully completed your registration, your data is stored in our database and re-registration is no longer possible. In the event of a re-registration under specification of incorrect data, SPORT.Guru is entitled to close the last opened account. Please read also our Terms and Conditions.
How can I deposit funds to my SPORT.Guru account and is it free of charge?
If you are logged in with your credentials, you will be shown the Add Funds button close to user name at the top. To deposit funds to your account, we currently charge a small transaction fee depending on your chosen payment method. This is to cover payment processing fees such as credit card and bank transfer fees.
How can I redeem a coupon at SPORT.Guru?
Just click on Add Funds in the upper right corner, next to your profile photo. On the next page you will see the entry field “Coupon code” where you can easily enter the code and click “APPLY.” Depending on the type of coupon used, your balance will automatically be updated, or you will receive your bonus with your deposit. Please review our Terms of Service for restrictions applicable to coupons and bonus codes.
How can I participate in a contest?
To be able to participate, you have to log in first. Choose the Game Lobby where you will find an overview of all current contents. There are two ways to participate:
- You can create your own contest by selecting “Create Contest”. There you have to fill in the given fields and confirm by clicking on “Create Contest”. If you would like to know more about how to create a contest, simply read our instructions under How it works.
- You can also join a contest, simply select a contest in the Game lobby that suits your desired payout structure, type of game, number of participants and entry fee. Click “Enter” to join the contest. Please remember, to join a contest that has real-money prizes your account has to have sufficient credits before you can enter.
What determines the player values (Salary)?
The value of your players is based on their real life performances during sport events. Their performance is measured by certain activities, such as goals scored, shots, saves, fouls, etc. For more details regarding this, please see the section “Points” on our page “Game Rules.”
How can I get information about the individual players at SPORT.Guru?
The fastest way to get information about players and teams is through the player statistics page. Just go to “Game Lobby” and select Player Statistics. Here you can find all the current values for your players and teams. Also – while creating your Fantasy Team in a contest, you can simply click a player’s name to open a window with details about their past performance and current news articles.
Can I change my team lineup? How do transfers work?
Yes. You can change your team up to the start of the first game within your contest. Transfers are free on SPORT.Guru. Just go to “Upcoming Contests“ and click the „Edit“ button for the contest you wish to make a transfer. There you can change your team. Don’t forget to click „Enter“ after you are finished to submit your new team.
How can I see how many points my players have already earned?
You can see the points of your team at any time during the respective match. To do so, simply go to “My Contests,” then select Live Contests to get an overview of your currently running contests. By selecting your contest, you can see how many points your players have already earned in the match.
I accidentally participated in a competition. What should I do?
Unfortunately, for legal reasons, we cannot cancel any participation in a contest. Once you have joined a contest and this has been accepted by the system, it is no longer possible to cancel your participation.
How do I know if I won?
We inform all winners by e-mail notification. The notification will be sent to the e-mail address you’ve added when registering at SPORT.Guru. After your contest has completed you can find details regarding points and ranking under “My Contests” in the Contests History.
Why do I need to verify my account?
In order to comply with the regulations for online skill games, we are obliged to verify the identity and age of our customers at the latest when paying out winnings. This is to ensure that profits are not distributed more than once, minors cannot participate in online games of skill, and that no illegal games can be carried out, which would contradict the principles of SPORT.Guru.
How can I verify my account and which documents do I need to submit?
In order to complete your verification we need your account information (name, address, date of birth) and at least two documents verifying your identity (such as your passport, government issued identity card, and utility bills or bank/credit card statement). You can upload these documents in “My Account.” If your data is accurate and complete, we will try to verify your account.
Is uploading my personal documents safe?
We place great value on safe and discreet handling of your personal data. Therefore, we ensure that all documents that leave your computer are encrypted using SSL technology. This process allows you to send documents over the Internet without the risk that they can be intercepted by third parties.
Who can view my documents?
Access to your documents and data is restricted to employees who are responsible for the verification process. Our internal data encryption procedures prevent unauthorized access to your data.
My account has been blocked because I have entered a wrong password several times. What can I do?
Please contact our customer service and state your name and surname, user name, and your e-mail address, which you have registered in your SPORT.Guru account. Please remember to write the reason for your message to us.
